We Changed Our Sales Approach: Here's Why

Wow has this been a whirlwind year for us! We opened a brick-and-mortar store in our town, grew with new wholesale accounts across the country, had record sales for our largest in person event, had a baby, started homeschooling our kiddos, and then closed our location in town and moved it all back home. A little crazy? Yes. Did we learn a lot? Yes. Do we regret it? Nope! While it was such an amazing and rollercoaster year for us, the most important things have been the changes in our family. After our little girl arrived in August, things will never be the same for us, in such a good way.

As much as I love this business and the creative outlet it has been for me, and the way it has helped support our family over the years... after everything this year I am on the verge of a burnout, and in desperate need of a change if we are to keep things going. Demand for our products has always been high (which is great!) But we kept falling behind and could never seem to catch up or get ahead of that demand. It got to the point where we were making EVERYTHING to order, and feeling stretched extremely thin. As a wife, mama, and business owner who wears ALL the hats, that just isn't sustainable. 

To keep our brand alive, and to help us get ahead again, we are switching to a Drop/Launch Sales approach.

How this effects you:

  1. Our Drop Dates will be your best bet on being the first to get your hands on LIMITED inventory!

  2. We will restock our best-selling products first, and will do our best to keep up with requests for items that are not on that list. However, I can only do so much and won't be able to keep ALL our scents in stock year-round (So for example, seasonal scents will be just that; seasonal. Once they are gone, they are gone and we won't be making more till the next year!)

  3. If you still aren't seeing something you need, please let us know and we will do our best to stock it for the NEXT drop.

  4. We will avoid "pre-orders" and "reserving" inventory before each Drop (this just overcomplicates things on our end.) Please set reminders for Drop Dates so you can be the first in line to get what you need! Inventory is posted on our site so you should have a clear idea of what we have in stock for each product.

  5. We realize this requires a bit of planning and a lot of patience on your end, which doesn't go unnoticed. Please understand this is the best way we have found to go forward that works for us and for our family. We believe this is just a season, and are excited to see how it shapes the future of our business!
