A Letter to Our Customers

Dear Customers & Friends,

We want to thank you all for the support and prayers you have sent our way since we shared what we are going through in December. We have felt ALL the love, and are extremely grateful for you!! I wanted to touch base and share with you were we are now, and where we hope to be this year. Since you have been there to support our family and business, we would like to give you our heartfelt honesty in return!

I have been blown away at the amount of women who have reached out to me with understanding and supportive messages about Postpartum Depression. To be completely honest, this entire experience with Postpartum has taken me to a whole new level of rock bottom, to depths I didn’t think were possible before. It is amazing to me how you can feel so alone, especially when you are surrounded by so much love. However, in that darkness and hopelessness, in those depths, the Lord was there. Just like I have met him countless times in the heights of my life. Except now I am experiencing His love in a totally new way. In all of my weakness, vulnerability, and incapacity, I have experienced the most freeing love I have ever felt in my life. It hasn’t been just feelings; it has been concretely expressed through my husband, my family, our community, and by all of you. So in the end I am truly grateful for all of this, and I know that this is just part of the beautiful story of my life that the Lord is writing.

While we are not out of the woods yet with my health, we have a lot of hope for what God is doing with us, and with this business. Since the beginning, we have always wanted to keep our priorities (like our family) straight, to put our faith first, and to trust where God leads us. Since the time we took in December to step back and take care of these things, so many doors have been opened, and we see a year full of endless possibilities ahead of us. One of those doors was being awarded funds from Fremont County MOVE grant, which is a huge step for us!

We are currently taking time to reorganize, revamp, and adjust some things behind scenes in our company which will enable us to grow. None of this would have been possible if we hadn’t taken this time off for ourselves. We hope not only to make this our best year yet, but also to grow this community which has become part of our business. Whether it is common experiences, life struggles, faith, or just simple comforts and cozy candles, we hope that we can share it all with you. Our hope is for Wind & Sage to bring a little more joy (and a little more light) to your life this year.

Be on the lookout in the next few weeks for an update on our next launch, and some exciting changes! As always, thank you for your continued support of our family and our business. We wish you all the best, since the best is yet to come!

Gratefully,

Monica & Matthew

P.S. We are looking to expand our team, and have a position open for a business office manager. If you are interested or know of someone who may be, let us know! We will be posting more information on this position soon. Thank you!
